Being a Lion isn’t just about raising funds and helping the local community, even through its the reason we all got involved in the first place. Its about being part of a group of likeminded individuals, who share common interests – and from this, lifelong friendships grow.
Bridgnorth Lions Club has a healthy calendar of member activities arranged by the Club’s Social Committee.
The Committee has a formal role to monitor membership and attendance, to ensue we all comply with the Club Constitution and Lions Club International requirements.
Throughout the year the Committee organise the main Club social activities like the Annual Charter Evening, Christmas Party and the Presidential Handover event, as well as every month arranging social events for the members, their wives and partners. This could be anything from trips to local attractions, bowling nights; there’s even a few takers for more adventurous pastimes like paintballing and Clay Pigeon Shooting…..
